Bearing And Race – BR-709

A bearing and race set pairs the rolling-element bearing with the hardened ring it rides against, supplied together so the bearing and the surface it wears into are replaced as a matched pair rather than mixing a new bearing with a worn race. This set serves a load wheel position, where the bearing carries the weight rolling through the wheel and a worn bearing or race shows up as play, roughness, or noise in the wheel.

Replacing both halves together restores the correct fit and clearance that a new bearing seated in a used race would not hold. Match the bore, outside diameter, and width of the set to the components being replaced so the bearing presses into the wheel and seats on its shaft.
