Bearing – BR-355

Rolling elements running between an inner and outer race let a load wheel turn freely under the full weight passing through it, and this bearing fills that load wheel position when play, roughness, or noise signals the races or elements have worn.

Load wheels carry a large share of a lift truck's rated load, which keeps their bearings under steady stress and makes them one of the more routine replacements in the running gear. A bearing that has started to spall or lose its grease runs rough and drags, feeding extra load into the wheel and the structure around it, so it is worth changing at the first sign of wear rather than later.

Match the bore, outside diameter, and width to the bearing being replaced so the new one seats without slack or bind. Match the seal type and bearing series as well, since these vary by application even when the bore is the same.
