A load wheel bearing that has begun to fail shows up as a wheel that no longer rolls freely, a rumble under load, or measurable side play, and replacing it restores smooth rolling and protects the axle and wheel it rides on. Match the bore and outside diameter to the wheel and axle it seats into, along with the bearing series and seal type, since load-wheel bearings of the same family vary in width and seal configuration even at a shared bore. Getting the bore right is what determines whether the bearing seats correctly on the shaft and carries load without spinning in place.
