Crown Load Wheel Bearing Cone 395LA – BR-543

This tapered roller bearing cone carries the 395LA designation and forms the inner race of a two-piece tapered set, holding the roller cage that runs against a separate cup. Its tapered geometry lets it carry radial load together with the axial thrust a load wheel takes as the truck corners, with the cone pressing onto the shaft and turning with the wheel. In a Crown running gear it sits inside the load wheel and channels the truck's weight down into the rolling contact at the floor. As a hardened rolling part under constant heavy load, it is a standard replacement during a load wheel rebuild. This cone pairs with its matching 394A or 399A cup in Crown load wheel assemblies.
