Forming the turning joint that a load wheel or caster assembly swivels around, this pivot is a running-gear component for Raymond electric lift trucks. It carries both side and vertical loads while letting the wheel track cleanly through changes in direction, keeping the tire's contact patch loaded evenly so it wears flat rather than coning to one side.

Built as a hardened wear member, the pivot has to hold its fit against the constant articulation and shock loading of dock and warehouse work. As it wears, the wheel begins to wander and hammer in its mount, and that looseness accelerates the failure of the wheel bearings and the tire itself. Renewing the pivot restores a tight, controlled swivel and protects the more expensive parts riding on it.

Match the pivot's diameter and length to the component being replaced, since it locates the swivel and only the correct fit holds the wheel assembly properly aligned under load.
