Polyurethane load wheel for Crown lift trucks, carrying load at the fork end on a press-on poly tread, 6 in x 3 in. Load wheels wear flat spots and chunk under load; replacing them restores smooth roll and protects the bearings.
Thombert casts this 6 inch load wheel in Dyalon A polyurethane, 3 inches wide, on a 1.781 inch bore that seats it on the axle. Unlike a wheel running a single ball bearing, this one is built around a tapered roller bearing set, the LM11949 and LM11910 cone and cup, which carries higher radial and thrust loads than a ball bearing of the same size. Dyalon A polyurethane gives the tread the load rating and abrasion resistance that electric lift truck load wheels need through constant cornering and static load.
Supplied as the wheel only, it lets the installer fit fresh bearings or carry over the existing cone and cup at the swap. The hub is drilled for a grease zerk, so the tapered bearings can take fresh grease in service rather than running dry to failure. Thombert documents the wheel as fitment for UniCarriers lift trucks.
Match the 1.781 inch bore and the tapered bearing set to the position coming off the truck before installing, since a tapered bearing seats differently than a ball bearing and the bore must fit the axle. Keep the zerk-fed bearings greased on a regular schedule to reach full service life.
