Like other press-on polyurethane tires, this one has no air chamber and no pneumatic failure mode. The tread is a solid polyurethane casting that mounts to a steel band under press force rather than bolting or vulcanizing to the wheel. At 40 pounds, it is among the heaviest single tires in this size range, reflecting the larger cross-section of compound needed to carry the load a truck built around this fitment puts through the wheel.

Solid construction means the tire cannot go flat, but it wears the way any solid press-on tire wears, gradually across the tread face, with chunking or flat-spotting the signal that replacement is due rather than a sudden failure.
