Press-On Polyurethane Forklift Tire 16.25 x 6 x 11.25 – RT-191000

Molded in polyurethane bonded to a steel press-on band, this forklift tire measures 16.25 inches across the outside diameter, 6 inches wide, and 11.25 inches at the inside mounting diameter, which is the interference-fit dimension that seats it on the wheel. The polyurethane tread carries heavy static and rolling loads with low rolling resistance and far better cut and chunk resistance than rubber, which is why press-on poly is the standard on electric lift trucks working smooth indoor floors.

It mounts by hydraulic press, the steel band driven onto the wheel under a controlled interference fit so the tire locks on without any fasteners. This size is cataloged for Crown electric lift trucks.

Because a press-on tire seats by interference, match the 11.25 inch inside mounting diameter to the wheel exactly, since a bore that runs oversized will spin on the wheel and an undersized one will not press on. The 6 inch tread width and 16.25 inch outside diameter also have to match the original to hold the load rating and ride height the truck was set up for.
