Thombert molds this drive tire in Dyalon B polyurethane on a bonded steel ring, a 10 inch outside diameter carrying 5 inches of tread width on a 6.5 inch inside band. Dyalon B runs at roughly 83 Shore A durometer, a firmer compound than Thombert's softest grades, which favors load capacity and stability at the drive position over ride softness. The full 5 inch section spreads drive torque and load across a wide contact patch, the profile a counterbalanced electric truck needs on a driven wheel.
