Press-on polyurethane forklift tire, 12 x 5 x 9 in (outside diameter x width x inside diameter), for Crown electric lift trucks. It presses onto the wheel band with a steel mounting ring and runs with the low rolling resistance, non-marking contact, and long wear that make poly the standard tire for clean indoor electric-truck work. It is a drive-axle tire built to put traction and load to the floor.
Thombert builds this polyurethane press-on drive tire to a 12 inch outside diameter, 5 inches wide, on a 9 inch mounting bore that sets the interference fit onto the drive wheel. Mounted at the drive axle, this tire puts the truck's tractive effort to the floor, so its polyurethane tread is bonded to a steel press-on band to carry the torque and load without slipping on the band or chunking under repeated starts and stops.
The smooth tread runs clean on finished indoor floors, and at 20 pounds the tire is sized for the drive position on a mid-range electric truck. It seats by hydraulic press, driving the band onto the wheel under interference so the two turn as one with no fasteners. This Thombert drive tire is documented to fit BT and Prime Mover, Crown, MCFA, Raymond, and Unicarriers lift trucks.
Match the mounting bore to the drive wheel diameter before pressing the tire on, since a press-on tire holds only by interference and will not stay seated on a wheel cut to a different size. Forklifts Etc. carries this Thombert drive tire as a direct replacement for the worn press-on it takes off.
