Thombert presses this Dyalon A polyurethane tire onto a bonded steel band to build a 15 inch press-on tire, 7 inches across the tread on an 11.25 inch mounting bore that sets the interference fit onto the wheel. Dyalon A is Thombert's polyurethane compound, and it carries the load and resists the cutting and chunking that end a softer press-on tire early, holding its shape through the repeated start, stop, and turning loads an electric lift truck puts on a tire every working day.
The smooth tread runs clean on finished warehouse floors, and at 33 pounds the tire matches the mass of a press-on sized for this class of truck. It seats by hydraulic press, driving the polyurethane band onto the wheel under interference so the two turn as one with no fasteners to loosen. This Thombert tire is documented to fit Crown and Raymond lift trucks.
Match the mounting bore to the wheel diameter before pressing the tire on, since a press-on tire holds only by interference and will not stay seated on a wheel cut to a different size. Forklifts Etc. carries this tire as a direct replacement for the worn press-on it takes off.
