Hight Encoder – SCR-2975

A height encoder tracks how far the forks or carriage have traveled up the mast and reports that position back to the truck's control system, the feedback device behind height readouts, automatic stop positions, and the height-dependent speed and function limits on an electric lift truck. Without an accurate signal from it, the controller loses track of fork height and the features that depend on knowing it stop working correctly.

Mounted on the upright where it reads mast or carriage movement, it is an electronic sensor exposed to vibration and the elements over years of cycling, and a failing encoder shows up as erratic or frozen height readings. Match the replacement to the encoder coming off the mast so the mounting and the signal correspond to what the control system expects.
