Crown Mast Roller – CR085142

Riding within the mast channel to support and guide the carriage as it travels up and down, this Crown mast roller carries the load path between the moving carriage and the fixed mast rails. It is a wear component that keeps mast movement smooth and square under load, and at about 0.9 pounds it is sized to a specific roller position within the mast.

A mast roller turns through every lift and lower cycle, so its bearing surface flat-spots, roughens, or develops play as it wears, which shows up as jerky carriage travel, noise, or side-to-side rock in the mast. Replacing a worn roller restores smooth, controlled travel and takes the slack out of the carriage.

Because rollers are built in more than one outside diameter and bore, match the roller diameter and bore to the one coming off the mast, since the diameter sets how the roller rides in its channel and the bore governs whether it seats on its shaft.
