Built in Dyalon B, one of Thombert's polyurethane load compounds, this press-on tire measures 13 inches in outside diameter with a 5.5 inch tread width and a 9.5 inch inside mounting diameter. The polyurethane tread is bonded to a steel band that presses onto the wheel under a hydraulic interference fit, and it is supplied as the tire itself rather than a complete tire-and-hub unit. Dyalon B carries the rolling load of an electric lift truck while resisting the cuts and chunking that shorten the life of a softer compound on a hard floor.
This size is documented against Thombert's OEM cross-reference table for Crown electric lift trucks. The 9.5 inch inside mounting diameter governs whether the tire seats, so match it to the wheel band the tire presses onto before fitting; an inside diameter that does not match the band will not hold the tire under load. The smooth tread spreads weight evenly across the 5.5 inch width for stable footing through a full shift.
