Press-on polyurethane tire pre-pressed on a hub for Crown electric lift trucks, supplied as a complete tire-and-hub assembly in 13 x 4.5 x 8 in tire size. It installs as a unit on an exchange basis, so there is no separate tire press required. The polyurethane tread gives low rolling resistance, non-marking contact, and long wear on clean indoor floors.
The tire arrives already pressed onto its hub as one complete unit, a Thombert press-on tire and hub assembly molded in Dyalon A polyurethane at a 13 inch outside diameter with a 4.5 inch tread width on an 8 inch bore hub. Because the polyurethane tire is factory-pressed to the hub, the assembly bolts on in place of the worn unit without a separate press operation, which is why it is supplied on an exchange basis. Dyalon A gives the tread the load capacity and cut resistance an electric lift truck needs, wearing evenly rather than chunking under repeated cornering.
