Press-on polyurethane tire pre-pressed on a hub for Crown electric lift trucks, supplied as a complete tire-and-hub assembly in 13.5 x 4.5 x 8 in tire size. It installs as a unit on an exchange basis, so there is no separate tire press required. The polyurethane tread gives low rolling resistance, non-marking contact, and long wear on clean indoor floors.
The wheel arrives as a complete unit: a polyurethane press-on tire already pressed onto its hub, so the buyer replaces the worn tire and hub together rather than pressing a bare tire onto a reused wheel. It measures 13.5 inches in outside diameter and 4.5 inches across the tread, on an 8 inch inside mounting diameter. Thombert builds the assembly with the tire bonded to a steel band and pre-mounted on the hub as one serviceable part.
Polyurethane gives the tire a solid body that carries rated load without the flat risk of a pneumatic tire and holds its shape through the turning and cornering of daily warehouse duty. Thombert documents the assembly to Crown and Linde/Baker electric lift trucks, so it fits those trucks as a direct poly replacement. Because the assembly locates on the axle through its bore, match the mounting bore to the axle before installing; a press-on assembly seats correctly only when the bore matches the wheel or axle it replaces. Forklifts Etc. supplies it as a complete tire-and-hub assembly.
