Built as a weldment, its frame and mounting are fabricated as one rigid piece rather than bolted together, which keeps the squeegee tracking evenly so it wipes and recovers water without streaking. The caster takes constant low-speed swiveling and side load through every turn, and a seized swivel or a worn wheel lets the squeegee drag or lift, leaving streaks and standing water behind the machine. Replacing the caster restores smooth tracking of the squeegee assembly.
