Thumbwheel Harness – CR146566

A thumbwheel control lets an operator dial in speed or function output with a small rotating wheel under the thumb, a control style common on Crown reach trucks and order pickers where fine, one-handed adjustment matters more than a full lever throw. This harness is the wiring that connects that thumbwheel to the truck's control system, carrying the variable signal the thumbwheel generates back to the controller that reads it.

Because a control harness routes through a handle or tiller that moves constantly during operation, it takes more flexing and vibration than most of the truck's other wiring. Repeated flexing at the same bend points can fatigue the conductors inside or work a connector loose, and either failure shows up as an intermittent or dead thumbwheel signal, a function that cuts out, jumps, or stops responding depending on handle position.

Replacing the harness restores a clean, unbroken path between the thumbwheel and the controller. At 0.2 pounds, this is a lightweight wiring component sized and routed to fit its designated position in the Crown control assembly.
