Fork Wheel – RA313065-001

Riding at the tip end of the fork on a walkie pallet truck or reach truck, a fork wheel carries the load as the forks lower and rolls across the floor as the truck moves. It is one of the hardest working wheels on the machine, taking the full weight of a loaded pallet on a small contact patch.

Because it runs directly under load, a fork wheel wears faster than the steer or drive wheels, flattening on one side, chunking at the tread, or seizing at the bearing as it collects debris. A flat-spotted or worn fork wheel drags, raises rolling effort, and marks the floor, all signs it is due for replacement. Match the overall diameter, tread width, and bore of the wheel coming off, since those three dimensions determine whether the replacement seats on the axle and rolls at the correct ride height under the fork.
