Raymond Slide – E-7011

Raymond makes this slide as a low-friction guide component for its electric lift trucks, a narrow part roughly 5.3 inches in its longest dimension and light at about a quarter pound. A slide rides in a channel or against a mating surface to let one part travel in a controlled straight line while keeping it aligned, and its length is what sets the range of that travel.

Because it is a wear surface, a slide takes friction and abrasion every time the assembly it guides moves, so it is a part that gets replaced as the original wears smooth, scores, or loses its fit.
