LP vaporizer and pressure regulator for Toyota lift trucks, converting liquid propane to vapor at the pressure the engine needs. Engine coolant warms the unit to boil the liquid propane, and a failed vaporizer causes hard starting, stalling, or poor running.
The Toyota LPG regulator and converter is an Aisan coolant-heated unit for the 4Y propane engine that vaporizes liquid propane and regulates its delivery pressure. Engine coolant heats the converter to boil the incoming liquid propane, and the regulator meters the vapor to the fuel system so the engine starts and runs on LP gas.
It fits Toyota 7-series trucks including the 7FGCU15 through 32 and 7FGU15 through 32, all on the 4Y engine. The Model-C casting is rated 250 psi working pressure and carries an identification tag stamped 30B80. A converter is a wear item: its diaphragms and seats harden and foul over time, causing hard starting and rough running. Replacing it restores clean fuel delivery. Forklifts Etc. supplies it as the Toyota 4Y LPG regulator and converter.
