Supplied as an exchange unit, this Raymond gearbox arrives reconditioned and ready to fit in place of a worn one, returning dependable drive to service without the wait of a rebuild. It houses the gear set that transmits power from the drive motor through to the wheels on Raymond lift trucks.

Inside the casing, meshing gears convert motor rotation into the torque and speed the truck needs to move and maneuver under load, and it is the wear and backlash in those gears and their bearings that eventually make a gearbox noisy, rough, or unreliable.
